BIKE/RUN CHALLANGE

This Blog has been created to publisise a brand new unique event taking place on the 9th Oct 2011 at Rutland water. This event is a pairs event one person cycling and they other running, you can swap as many times as you like during the race aslong as you stay within 10meters of each other.



This is a fast paced challenging event where change over tactics are cruitial for the team going for victory but also for the teams aiming to just get around.



The course length is 15miles over the mixed tarmak and dirt tracks of Rutland water. This is a fantastic challanginge event that you will get to complete with your frinds or partner.

I have some bad news regarding this weekends event, due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control we have had to postpone the event for this weekend.

We will be looking at new dates as soon as possible and adding some more venues so please don't let this deter you on entering again.

INTEREST IS GROWING FAST!!

Just to let you all know and a quick reminder also, that interest in the event has been excellent so far and entries are starting to come in. As this is the first race we have had to limit entries so if you want to compete please get you entry form is as soon as you can to unsure you can be with us on the day.

Very sorry if you are unable to download, I will try to find an better way to have the document attached to the blog. If anyone knows of a better way would be very happy for the advice.

The event will start at 10am and cut off time will be 2pm, entries can also be done on the day, but early entry

A fast new pairs event taking place at Rutland Water 09th Oct 2011

The event is 15miles in Distance

Fun for Beginners; challenging for the experienced

Pre marked route including Marshall's

All you need is two people and 1 bike, the aim of the event is to cover the distance as fast as possible, you choose who cycles and who runs and you can swap as often or as little as you like. The only restriction is that you stay within 10meters of each other.
